B. Pullen, Sr., Succumbs; Rites Held Friday Edward B. Pullen, Sr., 84, of Dodson, died at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 15, 1969 in a Jonesboro hospital. Mr. Pullen, formerly a farmer and timberman, was a member of the Dodson Methodist Church and was employed by Louisiana Department of Highways for many years before retirement. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Temple Pullen of Dodson; two sons, Edward B. Pullen, Jr. of Winter Park, Fla., and Ben L. Pullen of Morgan City; three daughters, Mrs. Phama Ross of Winnfield, Mrs. Dewana Lack of Dodson, and Mrs. Mary Mell D'Amico of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. John Held of St. Louis, Mo.; 12 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Friday at 10 a.m. in the Dodson Methodist Church with Rev. Dell Durand, Rev. Leland Swanner, Rev. Charlie Johns, and Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in Transport Cemetery.
