Glenn M. Purvis Dies; Rites At Iatt Church

Glenn Meade Purvis, 67, of Montgomery, died at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, may 17,
1975 in England Air Force Base Hospital.  He was a retire Army Veteran
of World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Purvis of Montgomery; two sons,
Larry D. Purvis of Howell, Mich., and Steven Purvis of Baton Rouge; a step-
son, Robert Goodwin of Healdsburg, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Beth Putman,
of Escondido, Calif., and Mrs. Maire McManus of Baton Rouge; two
brothers, Claude M. Purvis of New Verda and Ralph Purvis of Lawton, Okla.;
three sisters, Mrs. Maude Fuglaar and Mrs. Blanche Cami, both of Pineville,
and Mrs. Lera Soden of Alexandria; 11 grandchildren and give great
grandchildren.  Services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in Iatt Baptist Church. 
Burial was in Iatt Cemetery.
