Pyburn, Native of Winn, Dies In Shreveport Funeral services for Aubrey M. Pyburn, 59, prominent attorney of Shreveport who died at a hospital in that city Saturday following a short illness were held Monday, October 13, with interment in Forest Park Cemetery. A native of the Gansville Community in Winn Parish Mr. Pyburn was a merchant in Dodson for many years. Mr. Pyburn was a member of the law firm of Pyburn and Pyburn of Shreveport, and was a former assistant district attorney in the U. S. Western District of Louisiana. He was a graduate of Tulane University, a veteran of World War I, and a member of the board of directors of the First Methodist Church of Shreveport. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Irene Johnson Pyburn of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Terza of Monroe, and Mrs. C. C. Schober III, of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. D. M. Pyburn of Ruston; four sisters, Mrs. E. S. Foster, of Jonesoboro; Miss Helen Pyburn, of Hammond; Miss Mary Sue Pyburn, of Ruston; Miss Nita K. Pyburn of Tallahassee, Fla.; four brothers, Dewitt D. Pyburn, Shreveport; Dwight D. Pyburn, Baton Rouge; Hiram C. Pyburn, Ruston; and Keith M. Pyburn, Shreveport.
