Mrs. E. Quarles Dies After Long Illness

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella C. Quarles, 84, of Calvin, were held at 11
a.m. Saturday at Sanders Chapel Baptist Church in Calvin.

Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Southern Funeral Home
of Winnfield.

Mrs. Quarles died Thursday, October 7, 1976 in a local hospital after a
lengthy illness.  She was a member of the Shady Grove Baptist Church in
Jonesboro and a native of Winn Parish.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. C. H. Rhymes of Winnfield.
