Mrs. E. Quarles Dies After Long Illness

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella C. Quarles, 84, of Calvin were held at 11 a.m.
Saturday at Sanders Chapel near Calvin.

Burial was in the church cemetery under direction of Southern, Winnfield.

Mrs. Quarles died Thursday, October 7, 1976 in a local hospital after a
lengthy illness.  She was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church in Jonesboro
and a native of Winn Parish.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. C. H. Rhymes of Winnfield.
