Quinalty, 52 year old retired Winn Parish farmer and public official, died Sunday in a local hospital. Funeral services were held at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Monday at 3 p.m., with burial in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Quinalty was a lifelong resident of this parish. He served at one time as Parish Registrar of Voters, and as a member of the Winn Parish School Board. He was closely associated with the political affairs of this area in recent years. He was a member of the Denham Springs Masonic Lodge. Masonic rites were conducted at the graveside. Rev. Jerry M. Green, pastor of the South Winnfield Baptist Church, and former pastor of Union Hill Church in the Mount Zion Community, was in charge of the funeral services. Survivors include one brother, J. P. Quinalty of Orange, Texas; and one sister, Miss Lucy Quinalty of Route One, Montgomery.
