C. A. Rentz, 86, Dies; Burial At Friendship

Charles A. Rentz, 86, died Thursday, February 1, 1973.

A member of East Winnfield Baptist Church at the time of his death, Mr. Rentz
had resided in the Hudson Community most of his life having moved to that
location from Caldwell Parish.  He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Friday in the Southern Funeral Home with
the Rev. Jimmy Yocum officiating, assisted by Rev. Walter Pritchard.  Burial
was in the Friendship Cemetery.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Sam K. Mitchener of Lake Providence; one
sister, Mrs. T. B. Bishop of Shreveport; two brothers, Grady Rentz and Sidney
Rentz, both of Grayson.

Pallbearers were Dan Doherty, Walter Miller, Rev. Jackie Duplechain, Rev. Bert
Beams, J. W. Collins, and Rev. Cecil Ray Taylor.
