Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Assembly of God Church in Goldonna with the Rev. A. S. Davis and the Rev. A. D. Morgan officiating. Burial was in the Memory Lawn Cemetery, Natchitoches. Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Lula Mae Martin of Goldonna; eight brothers, W. H. Martin of Greenville, Miss., Leon Martin, Guy Martin, Ernest Martin, all of Goldonna, Eddie Martin of Many, James Floyd Martin of Winnfield, Huey Pete Martin of Mangham, Earl K. Martin of Shreveport; five sisters, Mrs. James E. Meyers and Mrs. E. D. Hickerman of Shreveport, Mrs. Waymon Dove of Natchitoches, Mrs. Jay Wesley Curry of Logansport and Mrs. Tommie Karo of Lubbock, Texas. She was the daughter of the late Ed Martin of Goldonna. The accident was the first fatality of Natchitoches Parish.
