E. W. Roberson Succumbs; Rites Held Saturday

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday for Elzy W. Roberson, 78, at
Winnfield Nazarene Church with burial in the Garden of Memories under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Rev. Lester Carpenter and Rev. Weems officiated.

Survivors include six sons, E. H. Roberson, Dallas Roberson, Eugene Roberson,
Roger Roberson, and Wayne Roberson, all of Winnfield and J. C. Roberson of
Monroe; one daughter, Mrs. Jewel Tarver of Epps; one brother, Johnnie Roberson
of Epps; one sister, Mrs. Rosie Pody of Lake Providence; 18 grandchildren and
nine great grandchildren.
