Mrs. Alma Raborn Dies February 1 of Heart Attack

Mrs. Alma Raborn, 44 years old, of Route 1, Goldonna, died at 4:30 p.m. on
February 1, when she suffered a heart attack while enroute by car from
Winnfield to her home in Ward 10.

She was riding in a car driven by her brother in law, Layton Raborn, and was
accompanied by a son, Raymond, and a grandson.  She had been undergoing
medical treatment for some time.

Funeral services were held at Carolina Church in Bienville Parish on February
4 and burial was in the cemetery there.  Rev. Jordan was in charge of the
services.

Deceased was a lifelong resident of Ward 10.  Surviving are her husband, Homer
Raborn, in Veterans Hospital at Little Rock, Ark.; six children, Larry,
serving overseas in Japan; L. C. of Arizona; Mrs. Irene Bartlett, Saline; and
Leslie, Sybil, and Raymond, all of Ward 10.

She also leaves four grandchildren and several brothers and sisters.
