Mother of Senator Willard Rambo Dies on Monday

Mrs. Rosa B. Rambo, mother of State Senator Willard Rambo, died Monday in a
hospital at Urania following a lengthy illness.

Funeral services were scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 22, (Tuesday) in the Selma
Baptist Church with the Rev. W. D. Carson and Rev. James Simons officiating.
Burial was planned for the Gray Cemetery.

Other survivors include a son, S. R. Rambo, Georgetown; four daughters, Mrs.
S. J. Davis, Denton, Tex., Mrs. Olan Gray and Mrs. Dorothy Johnson, Pollock,
Mrs. Guy Merrett, El Paso, Tex.; four brothers, Homer Barrett and Joe Barrett,
Sulphur, two sisters, Mrs. Buchie Puckett and Mrs. Bobbie Lincecum,
Georgetown; her mother, Mrs. Rhoda Barrett, Georgetown, 16 grandchildren,
and 8 great grandchildren.
