Death Claims Mrs. S. J. Raspberry of Jackson Parish

Mrs. S. J. Raspberry, age 78 years, 10 months and 25 days passed away at the
home of her stepson, J. L. Raspberry on the morning of March 17 after a short 
illness.

Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon and the body was laid to rest
in the Bethel Cemetery of Jackson Parish.

The deceased was the mother of six children, all of whom survive, also 5 step
children, and 63 grandchildren who mourn the passing of this devoted Christian
mother whose life was spent in loyal service for others.
