Rawls, 67, Succumbs; Burial in Miss. Kenneth Rawls, 67, of Dodson, died at 9:46 a.m. Friday, January 4, 1974 in a local hospital following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield. Officiating was the Rev. Mike Igo and burial was in the Highland Park Cemetery in Hattiesburg, Miss. He was a commercial air-conditioner workman and is survived by his widow, Mrs. Cornelia Rawls of Dodson; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Smith of Dodson; one son, Robert Prentiss Rawls of Hattiesburg, Miss.; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Glen E. Smith of El Paso, Tex., and Mrs. Lester E. Morris of Tampa, Fla.; two brothers, Charles P. Rawls of Memphis, Tenn. and Wilbur Rawls of Hattiesburg, Miss.; four sisters, Mrs. Katie Dubois, Mrs. Ann Jenkins, and Mrs. Kitty Terney, all of Hattiesburg, Miss., and Mrs. Howard Hill of Albany, N. Y., and 10 grandchildren.
