Rayburn Held Here Aug. 1 Jesse E. Rayburn, 71, retired creosote plant foreman, died July 31 in a Winnfield hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in Winnfield Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Gary Gough, John Scott, Kelly Peterson, Jr., John F. Lovell III, Charles Griffin and Robert House. Survivors are his widow; one son, Gary W. Rayburn of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. T. J. Smith of Olla and Mrs. A. G. Stewart of Huntsville, Texas; one brother, Marshall Rayburn of Shreveport; one half-brother, E. W. Rayburn of Houston, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Bertha McCann of Pineville; five half- sisters, Mrs. Roy Emmons of Harrisonburg, Mrs. Bessie King of Georgetown, Mrs. Florence Sharp of Taylor, Texas; Mrs. Bee Ingles of Winnfield, and Mrs. G. W. Taylor of California; three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
