Wife of Rev. Spencer Ray is Buried at Cypress Creek Mar. 4

Mrs. Alice Ray, wife of the Rev. Spencer Ray of Nebo, died on March 4th and
was buried Friday afternoon at Cypress Creek Cemetery.

The deceased was 77 years and 6 months old and was a member of the Cypress
Creek Baptist Church.  She had resided in the Cypress Creek community a
greater part of her married life.  Services were conducted by the Rev. Joe
Qualls of Jonesboro.

Surviving are her husband and six children, William and Roy Ray of Nebo,
Luther Ray of Waxahachie, Texas, Armor Ray of Texas, Mrs. Lue Emma Masters of
Nebo, and Mrs. Mary Mile of California.  She was an aunt of Mr. Jesse and Mr.
Grove Temple of Cypress Creek.
