Funeral Services For Katherine Rayburn Fri. 10:30

Fourteen Year Old Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rayburn Succumbs Thursday

Katherine Rayburn, 14 year old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Rayburn, died at
her home Thursday morning at two o'clock, following a week's illness with flu
and presumably pneumonia.  Three members of the Rayburn family were ill with
the flu and Katherine's condition was not considered serious until only a day
before her death.

Katherine was born January 31, 1918, and is the youngest daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. J. E. Rayburn.  She was a seventh grade student in the local school. 
Besides her parents, she is survived by two sisters, Miss Polly Rayburn and
Mrs. Jeff Smith.

Funeral services will be held at the family home Friday morning at 10:30.  The
Rev. A. H. Cullen, Baptist minister, and the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian
minister, will have charge of the services.  Interment will be in the
Winnfield Cemetery.
