E. Rayburn, 41 years, 1 month, and 26 days, died Saturday, December 24, 1932 with pneumonia, just one week after the death of her fourteen year old daughter, Katherine. Funeral services were held at the home Sunday afternoon, December 25th, the Rev. A. H. Cullen, Baptist minister, and the Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian minister, in charge. Interment was in the Winnfield Cemetery. Mrs. Rayburn has been a resident of Winnfield for the past fourteen years. For a number of years she was employed at The Bandbox and is well known in this community. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the W. O. W. and W. B. A. The surviving relatives are husband, J. E. Rayburn; two daughters, Mrs. T. J. Smith and Polly; brothers, L. M. Adams, Chestnut; Frank and Louis Adams, Nacogdoches, Texas; M. M. Martin, Hall Summit; R. L. Martin, Conroe, Texas; Harley and J. W. Adams, Chestnut, La.; sisters, Mrs. G. E. Evans, Saline; Mrs. Z. C. Wayland and Miss Dezra Adams, Chestnut; father and step mother, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Adams, Chestnut.
