Reece Ray, former resident of Winnfield and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs.
Walt Ray, died at his home in Liberty, Texas, Tuesday morning of this week. 
Funeral services were held at Liberty the following day.

Mrs. John W. Wright, niece of the deceased, left Tuesday morning to attend the
funeral rites.  He is survived by a number of brothers and sisters, among them
Mrs. Maggie Carr of Alexandria and Shep Ray now of Baton Rouge.
