E. Raywinkle Held In Shreveport Albert Edward Raywinkle, engineer for the L. and A. Railroad Company for many years, died at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, October 7, 1944, at his home in Shreveport. He was 65. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday in the Rose-Neath funeral chapel, conducted by Rev. John Caylor, pastor of Highland Baptist Church, assisted by Rev. C. W. Culp, pastor of Queensborough Baptist Church. Burial was in the Greenwood Cemetery. Mr. Raywinkle had been a resident of Winnfield for many years until he moved to Shreveport a few months ago. He is survived by his wife; one son, Edward Raywinkle; one daughter, Mrs. Rupert McKaskle, Many; three grandchildren and five sisters, Mrs. L. M. Rogers, Mrs. T. R. Malin, Mrs. Joe Elkins, Mrs. C. Ready, and Mrs. M. B. Boyd. Pallbearers were J. H. Askey, Charles Bains, E. J. Currie, J. P. Durham, W. H. Hearn, and P. T. Eubanks. Honorary pallbearers were members of the Brotherhood of Highland Baptist Church.
