R. B. McGinty, 88, Dies at Home in Shreveport, Mon.

    Funeral services for R. B. McGinty, age 88, who died at his home in
Shreveport, Monday afternoon, were held at the Mount Zion cemetery
Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Felix Wardlow of Montgomery officiating.
    The deceased is a member of one of the oldest families of this
section and at one time made his home at Montgomery.  He was a member of
the Eastern Star Lodge No. 151 of Winnfield and a relative of Mr. C.
McGinty, former Clerk of Court here, and Miss Ruth McGinty.
    Surviving are the widow; five sons, R. L., R. H., E. P., G. B.
McGinty and E. W. McGinty of Montgomery, La.  Also one sister, Mrs. Bam
Burley of Mansfield, La.
