Funeral Rites For Claburn L. Reed Held Thursday

Claburn L. Reed, of Jonesboro, 75, died at 2 a.m. Wednesday, November 27,
1968, in the Alexandria Veterans Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Southern
Funeral Home in Winnfield with Rev. Junior McManus officiating.  Burial was
in Oak Grove Cemetery at Bentley.

Survivors are a son, Leon Reed of Alexandria; a daughter, Mrs. Betty Jordan
of Dodson; a brother, Garnet Reed of San Bonita, Texas; two sisters, Mrs.
Altha Alexander of Shreveport and Mrs. Lillie Brooks of Jonesboro; and two
grandchildren.
