Colored Deaths

Funeral services were held recently for Rev. Dolphus Reed, 96, born December,
1861, near Gansville, who died July 5th.  He was the son of Cindy and Spot
Reed.

He is survived by his wife, Lou Reed, and 14 children, Dayton Reed, Winnfield;
Nancy Cook, Gurdon, Ark.; Serena Joe, Dodson; Brady Reed, Jonesboro; Felix
Reed, Dodson; Sadie Hollingsworth, Dodson; Lillian Eldridge and Fuller Reed,
Pasadena, Calif.; Odell Sanders, Detroit, Mich.; 33 grandchildren, 33 great
grandchildren, two brothers, many nieces and nephews.
