Funeral Services Held Tuesday For H. A. Reed, 81

Last rites were conducted Tuesday in Beech Creek Baptist Church for H. A.
Reed, 81, who died Sunday in a Monroe hospital.  Rev. W. C. Bounds and Rev. E.
B. Barton officiated the funeral with burial in Beech Creek Cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home in Winnfield.

Mr. Reed, a native of Urania, has been living in Winnfield for the past
several years. 

Survivors are his wife, eight daughters, Mrs. John Miller, Bernice; Mrs.
Michael Bares, New Orleans; Mrs. George Neal, El Dorado; Mrs. H. J. Crain, El
Dorado; Mrs. G. P. Sikes, Shreveport; Mrs. Frank Langley, Wright City,
Oklahoma; Mrs. H. F. Williams, Hot Springs; and Mrs. W. R. Green, Little Rock;
one son, C. C. Reed of Bernice; 21 grandchildren and several great
grandchildren.
