Former Winn Resident Dies in Texas

A. C. Reeves of Appleby, Texas, was buried at 3:00 o'clock Monday afternoon in
the Appleby Cemetery.  He is the son of Mrs. W. H. Reeves of Greenwood, Texas
and the late W. H. Reeves of this parish.

Mr. Reeves was 56 years of age and was reared in the Couley Community in Winn
Parish and lived in this parish until 1900, at which time he moved to Grant
Parish.  He received his education at Mt. Lebanon College, Gibsland, La.  In
1911 he moved to Texas where he resided until his death.
