Funeral Services For Mrs. Lessie Rice Held Thursday, 9th

Funeral services for Mrs. Lessie Rice, 44, who died in an Alexandria hospital,
was held in the Tullos Methodist Church at 10 a.m. Thursday of last week. Rev.
Jerome Chine officiated. Interment was in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville.

She leaves her husband, W. H. Rice, Sr., one son, W. H. Rice, Jr., United
States Navy, one daughter, Mrs. Ed Jeane, of Shreveport, and one
granddaughter, Jerry Jo Jeane; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. White, Gaars
Mill; three sisters, Mrs. Ralph Frazier, Winnfield, Mrs. Odis Holland, Castor,
and Mrs. Raymond Day, Marion; and three brothers, J. C. White, Winnfield;
Clayton White, Castor; and Lloyd White, St. Louis, Mo.
