Funeral Services Held Wednesday For N. M. Rice, 77, of Goldonna

Funeral services for N. M. Rice, 77, of Goldonna, who died in a local clinic
Tuesday, were held at the Evergreen Church near Goldonna at 2 p.m. Wednesday
with the Rev. A. R. Boswell of Goldonna officiating.  Burial was directed by
Southern Funeral Home.

Mr. Rice was born in Mississippi March 9, 1872 and has lived in Goldonna for
many years.  He was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are his widow, six sons, O. G., Louie, Bennett, Larkin, and James
Rice of Goldonna, and Love Rice of Winnfield; two daughters, Miss Rena Rice of
Goldonna and Mrs. Dove Morgan of Jena; and six grandchildren.
