J. Richardson Dies Suddenly Here July 24th A. J. Richardson, 57, for many years general yard superintendent at the American Creosote Company, died her suddenly Sunday, July 24, 1960 at 5 p.m. following a heart attack. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Hixson Brothers Funeral Home, Winnfield, with Dr. W. L. Holcomb and Rev. C. C. Martin officiating. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Arnold Corbett, Larry Rodgers, J. B. Coon, Bonner Etheridge, R. L. Waggoner, and George Bemont. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Memie Lee Richardson, Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs. E. A. Gaar, Bernice, Mrs. C. B. Hemperley, Winnfield, and Mrs. Paul Farmer, Las Vegas, Nevada; a son, Jimmy Richardson, Alexandria; two brothers, George Richardson of Bentonville, Ark., and Lee Richardson of Nuttley, N. J.; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Lewis and Mrs. Fannie Cox, both of Alexandria; and Mrs. Sarah Lackland of Mize, Miss. He also leaves eleven grandchildren.
