R. C. Richards Claimed By Death At Williana

Robert C. Richards, 71, died at his residence near Williana Monday, February
12.

Mr. Richards was born January 26, 1880 in Lincoln Parish.  He had lived in the
Williana community for the past sixty years.

Funeral services were held at the Fairfield Baptist Church near Williana
Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. O. T. Hammons and Rev. J. L. Brister
officiating.  Burial was in the Fairfield Cemetery under the direction of the
Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Mr. Richards is survived by his wife, Mrs. Alma Richards; four sons, Otho
Robert Richards and Owen Richards of Dry Prong; Clyde Richards of Colfax, and
W. D. Richards of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Strom of College Park,
Georgia, and Mrs. Fannie Williams of Dry Prong; two brothers, Rufe Richards
and Jess Richards of Colfax, and one sister, Mrs. Mae Bronson of Colfax.
