Mother of L. Rickerson Succumbs in Shreveport

Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Rickerson, 82, of Bossier City, mother of
L. Rickerson of Winnfield, were held Monday at 10 a.m. at Rose Neath funeral
chapel, conducted by Rev. Houston Smith, pastor of the Bossier City Baptist
Church.  Interment was in Forest Park Cemetery.  Mrs. Rickerson died at her
home Sunday morning after an illness of eight months.

Mrs. Rickerson was born in Minden.  She had been a resident of Bossier City
for the past 33 years.  She had been a member of the Bossier City Baptist
Church for many years.

Mrs. Rickerson is survived by three sons, I. D. Rickerson, of Brighton,
Ontario, Canada; Leary Rickerson of Winnfield; and Guy Rickerson of Bossier
City; a daughter, Mrs. W. F. Harbuck, Bossier City; six grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.

Attending the last rites from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. L. Rickerson, Mrs.
B. W. Bailey, and Mrs. J. R. Hall.
