Mrs. D. J. Riffe Succumbs; Rites At Bethlehem

Mrs. Pearl Dodson Riffe, of Winnfield, died at 3 a.m. Friday, June 12, 1970 in
the Jackson Parish Hospital at Jonesboro.  She was 70.

Survivors include her husband, Dufer J. Riffe of Winnfield; two sons, J. M.
Riffe of Winnfield, H. C. Riffe of Jonesboro; three daughters, Mrs. Claude
Dolese, Sr., of Taylor, Mrs. H. O. Bullock of Bossier City, Mrs. Lonnie
Chandler of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs. H. D. Towns of Lake Wales, Fla.,
Mrs. H. G. Herron and Mrs. John Manning, both of Shreveport; 17 grandchildren
and 11 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Saturday in the Bethlehem Baptist Church
with Rev. Wilmer Jordan and Rev. J. W. Kennedy officiating.  Burial was in the
church cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
