Mrs. Ruby Riffe Funeral Service Monday, April 7

Mrs. Ruby Gladys Riffe, 53, died at 1:50 p.m. Sun., April 6, at her home
on Machen Street.  Mrs. Riffe was a native of Winn Parish.

She is survived by her husband, Murry, of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs.
Betty Lou Cockerham, Shreveport, and Mrs. Mary Ann Frederick of Winnfield;
six brothers, Clinton Bates, Aura Bates, Earl O. Bates, George Bates,
Henry Bates, and Rev. C. D. Bates, all of Winnfield; three sisters, Mrs.
Emma Simmons, Calvin; Mrs. Ruth Key, Winnfield; and Mrs. Clara Foster,
Shreveport, La.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, April 7 at 3 p.m. at the Bethlehem
Baptist Church, Rev. C. D. Bates officiating, assisted by Rev. W. C. Toms.
Rev. Wilmer Jordan assisted at graveside.  Interment was in the Bethlehem
Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Charles L. Bates, Roy Bates, Malcolm Foster, Glynn Edward
Key, John D. Canerday, and Rickey Bates.
