Teacher Of Georgetown Dies From Heart Attack

Mrs. Josephine Riggs, 47, an instructor in the Georgetown School and a
resident of the Packton Community, died suddenly Wednesday night from a heart
attack at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Zion Baptist Church near Georgetown
at 11 a.m. Friday, with burial in the Zion Cemetery under direction of Hixson
Funeral Home.

Mrs. Riggs was a native of Palestine, Texas.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Riggs, and two sons, Max and Robert,
all of Rt. 1, Georgetown; her father, R. Harrington, Palestine, Texas; three
brothers, Ned and Elijah Harrington of Texas City and Roy Harrington of
Middleton, Texas; one sister, Mrs. Johnnie Estes of Patricia, Texas.
