Riggs Buried July 6 Arch Cornelius Riggs, 81, long time resident of the Packton community, Georgetown, Route 1, died in a Winnfield hospital Tuesday, July 5, 1966. He was a retired farmer. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in Hixson Brothers Chapel, Winnfield, with the Rev. W. D. Carson officiating. Burial was in the Zion Cemetery with Masonic rites being conducted at the grave by Georgetown Lodge No. 298. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Bessie Wiley Riggs; five sons, Clyde L. Riggs, Thurmond Riggs, William O. Riggs, A. C. Riggs, Jr., and Gerald Riggs, all of Georgetown; four daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Kees and Mrs. Margaret hannegan, both of Georgetown, Mrs. Judy W. Moody of Clarksville, Texas, and Mrs. Sue Rossier of Winnfield; one brother, Mack Riggs of Pochahontas, Ark., and Mrs. Sue R. Milburn, of St. Louis, Mo.; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
