Winn Parish Enterprise   June 1981
   Services for James Earlie Rikard, 90, of Winnfield were held at

10 a.m. Friday in Couley Methodist Church with the Revs. Grayson

Watson and Roy Moore officiating.

   Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of

Southern Funeral Home.

   Mr. Rikard died Thursday, June 11, 1981 in Autumn Leaves Nursing

Home after a long illness.

   Survivors include two sons, John Rikard of Pasadena, Texas, and

Jesse Rikard of Natchitoches; four daughters, Mrs. Ina Rowell and

Mrs. Erlena Collins, both of Winnfield, Mrs. Dorothy Lowdermilk of

Porter, Texas, and Mrs. Izora Steinschulte of Alexandria; a sister,

Mrs. Emma Deville of Citrus Heights, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and

18 great-grandchildren.

   Pallbeares were John T. Rowell, David M. Lowdermilk, James S.

Lowdermilk, Bobby Harsell, Calvin Garrett and Peter A. Stevenson.



   Out-of-town people attending the James E. Rikard funeral were:
