Death Claims Couley Resident Last Friday

Funeral Services Were Held at Saline Saturday

William L. Rikard, 68, of the Couley community, died at his home Friday, May
21, 1937, and was buried at the Saline Cemetery, Saturday, with the Rev.
George McVey officiating.  Edmonds Funeral Home was in charge.

Mr. Rikard had been in ill health a number of years.  He had been a resident
of the Couley community for many years and had reared his family there.

Surviving are his wife, and several sons and daughters, Early Rikard, Mrs.
Emma Deville, Mrs. Edward Shaw, Mrs. Luke Kelly, Esslie Rikard, all of Couley,
and William and Clarence Rikard of Chestnut; and one sister of Houston, Texas.
