Swanson Riser, Winn Native, Succumbs

Swanson Riser, 75, of Shreveport, La., died Saturday, July 16, 1977 at his
home.

Services were held at Union Hill Baptist Church in Winnfield, La., Saturday,
July 23, 1977 at 2 p.m. under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home.  Burial
was in the church cemetery.

A native of Winnfield, La., Mr. Riser was a member of the St. Rest Baptist
Church, Shreveport, La.  Rev. John ____________________________.

Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Odelee Lewis; one nephew, Murphy Riser; six
nieces, Mrs. Hazel West, Mrs. Dorothy Wilson, Mrs. Margaret Cole, Mrs. Lula
Mae Riser, all of Winnfield, La.; Mrs. Modies Allen of Columbia, La., Mrs.
Georgia M. Corley and Mrs. Evelyn Jewitt of Detroit, Mich.; and many other
relatives and friends.
