Mrs. Hattie Riser, Former Resident of This Parish Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Hattie Riser, 79, who died in the home of her son in
Mansfield, after a year's illness, early Saturday morning, were held in the
Mt. Zion Cemetery near Montgomery, the Rev. Mr. Copeland officiating.

Mrs. Riser was a former resident of this parish, being the widow of the late
Matt Riser.

Surviving are four children, H. C. Riser, of Mansfield; Jesse Riser of
Aliquippa, Pa., Mrs. Lula Newsom of Louann, Ark., and Mrs. H. J. Smith of
Shreveport.
