Risher, 88, Succumbs; Buried Here April 10th Funeral services for J. R. Risher, 88, who died at his home in South Winnfield Saturday after a long illness, were held at the South Winnfield Baptist Church at 3 p.m. Sunday, with Rev. Charles Barfield officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Roy L. Waggoner, Kenneth Dell Rozelle, Curtis Allen Rozelle, Troy Frederick, Willie Frederick, and R. L. Waggoner. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Emma Hendrix Risher; three sons, C. H. and W. H. of West Monroe and Charlie Risher of Winnfield; two daughters, Mrs. E. L. Waggoner, West Monroe and Mrs. Cedatol of Houston; one sister, Miss Edith Risher of West Monroe, and 19 grandchildren. Mr. Risher was a native of Texas, but had been a resident of Winnfield 45 years.
