She lived at 603 Pecan Street. Funeral services were held at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon at the First Baptist Church with Rev. H. H. McBride, First Baptist Church, Rev. Alwin Stokes, Presbyterian Church, and Mr. Lynn Browning, Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Winnfield. Born April 8, 1911 in Winnfield, Mrs. Robbins was reared in this community and was a member of the First Baptist Church. She married Vernon Robbins March 16, 1938. She leaves her husband of Winnfield, who was recently discharged from service; her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Townsend of Winnfield; three brothers, Elmo, John, and Stanley, the latter in the U. S. Navy, all of Winnfield; five sisters, Mrs. G. C. Hall, Baton Rouge; Mrs. H. L. Prestridge, Baton Rouge; Mrs. N. H. Gates, Dodson; Mrs. H. W. Wilkes, Lovington, N. M.; and Anne Townsend, Winnfield. Pallbearers were A. T. Tracy, H. E. Parham, Claud Brock, W. H. Cameron, Robert Maxey, and Ardist McElroy. Hixson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
