W. Robbins, Husband of Nancy Tannehill, Dies Funeral rites for Donald Winston Robbins, 68, who died at 9 p.m. Tuesday in a Hot Springs, Ark., hospital after a long illness, were held in Winnfield, Thursday, March 10, at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist Church. Rev. George Ross, pastor, and the Rev. R. P. Johnson III, of New Orleans, officiated at the last rites. Burial was in the Garden of Memories Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Winnfield. Pallbearers were employees of the La. Power & Light Company of New Orleans. Mr. Robbins was a native of Kansas, and a member of the Methodist Church and the Shriners. He was a retired employee of the Louisiana Power & Light Company at New Orleans and at one time lived in Olla. His late brother, Vernon Robbins, and their late mother, were residents of Winnfield. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Nancy Tannehill Robbins of Hot Springs; and one brother, Roscoe Robbins of Fort Worth, Texas.
