L. Roberts, Tullos, Held Mon. Funeral services for James Lee Roberts, 37, of Tullos, were held Monday, September 10, 1951, in the Tullos Baptist Church at 1:30 p.m. with Rev. D. T. Mildord and Rev. Leo Ivy officiating. Interment was in the Concord Cemetery near Chatham. Roberts, a barber in Tullos for a number of years, died Sunday morning, September 9, at 7:30 o'clock, following an illness in an Alexandria hospital. Surviving Roberts are his wife, Mrs. Lillie Roberts and one son, Bobby Lee, both of Tullos; six brothers, J. N. of Chatham, Nolen of Whiteface, Texas, George Roberts, Jr., of Dodson, Dewitt of Levelland, Texas, William of Houston, Texas, and Louis of Snyder, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. R. M. Murphy of Jonesboro and Mrs. F. F. Murphy of Snyder, Texas; his mother, Mrs. Lula Roberts of Tullos. Pallbearers were Clayton Norred, W. E. Gammill, Jr., Henry Orr, J. W. Bardin, H. W. DePriest, R. A. Morris, and Willard Martin.
