Mrs. Jesse Roberts To Be Buried At Welcome Home

Mrs. Jesse Roberts, 72, retired grocery store owner, died Wednesday night in
a Winnfield hospital after a long illness.  She was a native of Winn Parish, a
resident of Pineville-Center Street, and a member of the First Baptist Church
of Winnfield.

The body will remain at Southern Funeral Home, Winnfield, until time for the
funeral services to be conducted at Welcome Home Baptist Church, Hudson
community, at 2 p.m. Friday.  The Rev. Readie Blair, nephew of the deceased,
will conduct the last rites.  Burial will be in the church cemetery under
direction of Southern Funeral Home.

Surviving are her husband, Jesse Roberts, Winnfield; one daughter, Mrs. Emma
Lou Bustin, Baton Rouge; one grandson, Harry Moss Baldridge, Winnfield; one
granddaughter, Cathy Mae Bustin, Baton Rouge; one stepson, and two
stepdaughters.
