Jessie Roberts, Former Winn Resident, Dies

Jessie R. Roberts, 90, of Pineville, died at 5:45 a.m. Wednesday, October 18,
1972 at the Camellia Nursing Home in Pineville after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Welcome Home Church,
near Winnfield, with a local pastor officiating.

Burial was in the Welcome Home Cemetery.

Mr. Roberts was a retired merchant and a former Winnfield resident.

Survivors include a son, Dan Roberts of Winnfield; three daughters, Mrs.
Myrtis Frantom of Pineville, Mrs. Roy Landon of Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Jimmie
Wright of Houston, Texas; one brother, E. H. Roberts of Hudson community; nine
grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
