Funeral services for Richard Allen Roberts were held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov.
22, in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Revs. Rayford Higgs and Kenneth
Tarver officiating.  Burial followed in the Sanders Chapel Cemetery near
Calvin, La.

Mr. Roberts, age 60, of Winnfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 20, 1996 in his
residence.  He was a member of New Jerusalem Baptist Church and was a secruity
guard employed by Burns Security.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Callie Roberts of Winnfield, and his mother,
Sarah F. Roberts of Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Mike Barton, Charles Barton, Ray Gorham, Ken LaCaze, Jodie
Gorham, and Henry Vines, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers were Lee Rhodes, Robert Franks, Fred Rankin, and George
Rankin.
