E. W. Rodgers, 90, Is Buried At Mt. Zion Cemetery

E. W. Rodgers, 90, of Montgomery died Wednesday morning after a long illness.

Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. T. N. Gilcrease of Shreveport, Mrs. Lessie
Garner of Montgomery, Mrs. Mildred Michels of Alexandria, and Mrs. Inez
Ferguson of Lake Charles; three sons, Earl Rodgers of of Shreveport, Weymon
Rodgers of Vivian, and Ozzro Rodgers of Montgomery; a brother, Pete Rodgers of
Alexandria; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Montgomery First Methodist
Church, with the Rev. M. L. Davis officiating.

Burial was in Mt. Zion Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home of
Winnfield.

Pallbearers were Noble R. Meyers, Howard M. Gilcrease, Robert Rodgers, A. C.
Seabaugh, Jr., Travis Chaddick, and Fred Fullington.
