Mrs. S. J. Taylor Received Telegram Stating Body to Be Shipped From Los Angeles Today Mrs. S. J. Taylor received a telegram from Los Angeles Tuesday telling of the drowning of her nephew, Curtis Rogers, 19 years old, who made his home with her until he was thirteen years old. No particulars were given of the accident or the place it occurred, but the telegram stated that the body would be shipped to Winnfield, when it was recovered. A telegram received Thursday morning stated the body had been shipped from Los Angeles today, Thursday. It is expected to arrive here Sunday at which time funeral services will be held. Curtis, whose parents are both deceased, made his home here until he was thirteen. He then went to San Antonio, to make his home with other relatives. Last February he went to Los Angeles. He is survived by an older brother, Willie, of Houston, Texas, and a sister, Mrs. C. F. Allison, of San Antonio, Texas, who is expected to arrive here this week end.
