Colored Deaths

Karry C. Rogers

Karry C. Rogers, 28, died in Port Arthur, Texas, Monday, September 3, from
injuries received while working for a carbon plant.  He was crushed between
two cars.

Funeral services were conducted at Bethlehem Church, Atlanta, La., Sunday,
with Rev. A. Patton officiating, assisted by Rev. Thomas of Port Arthur.

Rogers was born and reared at Atlanta.  He leaves his wife and six children,
in Port Arthur; his parents, Sylvester and Bessie Rogers of Atlanta; nine
sisters and three brothers; four sisters in Houston, one in Chicago, one in
California, and three in Atlanta, brothers in Atlanta.
