Funeral Services Held Sunday For George J. Rolen

George Jackson Rolen, 82, died Saturday, February 13, in a Winnfield nursing
home after a lengthy illness.  He was a retired farmer.

Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. in Hurricane Grove Baptist Church
near Sikes with the Rev. Ernie Yocum officiating.  Burial was in the Hurricane
Grove Cemetery.

Survivors include his widow; one brother, Z. R. Rolen of Sikes; two sisters,
Mrs. Ida Parker, Crowville, and Mrs. Ann Allen, Winnsboro.
