Native of Winn Parish Dies at Her Home in Urania, La.

Mrs. Ada Rooney, aged 52, of Urania, La., died at the Baptist Hospital in
Alexandria, La., Saturday, March 21, 1936.  Mrs. Rooney is a native of Winn
Parish being before her marriage a Miss Vickers.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon, March 22, at 3 o'clock at Beech
Creek Church.  Interment was made in the Beech Creek Cemetery.

Surviving the deceased are her husband, George Rooney; parents, Mr. and Mrs.
A. J. Vickers, Urania; nine children, Cecil, Tom, Guthrie, George, Lawrence,
Douglas, Katherine, Grace, and Marion Rooney, all of Urania; three brothers,
Iley Vickers, Esley Vickers, and Quincy Vickers, all of Winn Parish; two
sisters, Mrs. H. Z. Henkins, Woodville, Miss., and Mrs. H. E. Hearne, Houston,
Texas.

Attending the funeral from Winnfield were Mr. and Mrs. S. J. Harper, Mrs.
Maude Bradford, Mr. and Mrs. John Sowers, Mrs. J. L. Willis, and Mr. and Mrs.
Clarence Gates.
