Maude Mathis Ross

Services for Maude Mathis Ross, 80, of Winnfield, were held at 2 p.m. Monday
in the chapel of Southern with the Rev. J. P. Miles officiating.  Burial was
in Old Saline Cemetery near St. Maurice.

Mrs. Ross died Sunday, November 21, 1982 in Winnfield General Hospital.

She was a member of Laurel Heights Baptist Church and Pioneer Chapter No.
183, Order of Eastern Star, Montgomery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. G. W. Jones of Winnfield and Ann Ferrara
of Harahan; one stepson, Billy Ray Ross of Winnfield; one stepdaughter, Mrs.
Glen Guin of Winnfield; two sisters, Ceola Downs and Lela Tyson, both of
Montgomery; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and six step-great
grandchildren.
